Sandra Ortiz Diaz is a visionary systems change leader, renowned for her skill in building networks and fostering inclusive, resilient communities. Known for her effective communication, empathy, and integrity, Sandra excels at creating collaborative environments where diverse voices can thrive. Her dedication to social innovation and strategic leadership has left a lasting impact on numerous movements, inspiring others with her passion and commitment.

Born in Mexico City on November 23, 1979, Sandra moved to Europe in the early 2000s. She began her career in social innovation in 2003 with Dialogue Social Enterprise, where she served for six years and developed a strong foundation in this field. In 2012, Sandra joined the BMW Foundation Herbert Quandt as a representative for Latin America and later became a distinguished member of its executive leadership team. Her expertise and leadership have greatly influenced areas such as Venture Philanthropy, Social Entrepreneurship, and the Global Pro-bono Movement.

In 2014, Sandra found her first “tribe” within the League of Intrapreneurs, dedicating herself to
advancing Social Intrapreneurship. During this time, she also became deeply involved with the B Corps movement, collaborating closely with Sistema B, an experience she describes as a
“homecoming” that reconnected her with her Latin American roots and fostered both personal and professional growth.

Since 2015, Sandra has been actively engaged with Presencing Institute, participating in Leadership and Innovation Labs, including initiatives in Brazil focused on food, nutrition, and sustainable finance. Her exposure to Theory U through the Institute’s transformative processes inspired her to integrate these principles into the communities she serves. Sandra has since been a dedicated ambassador of Theory U and a strong advocate for the work of the Presencing Institute, advancing its mission to promote societal well-being through innovation and impact.
